Bopp, still the reigning WBA and WBO Light Flyweight champion will defend her titles for the 3rd time this year as she takes on the American based Russian Anastasia Toktaulova (14-11, 2) in her native Argentina.
"Tuti" Bopp is an incredible talent, despite losing last time out she managed to impress, as she always does with he speed, skilll and all around boxing talent. Sadly in Mexico she seemed to be up against it through out with Chavez always looking that bit bigger and stronger and every shot Chavez landed appeared to have the crowd in fits of celebration.
This time around Bopp is the one supposed to look good. She's supposed to show off her fun to watch aggressive style and shake any signs of doubt from her mind and it's hard to see her not managing to do that.
In Toktaulova, Bopp will be facing an experienced fighter but one who is limited. The 36 year old Toktaulova has been a professional since 1998 and has claimed various titles in her long career though is best known for her losses to Susi Kentikian and Mariana Juarez (the only woman to actually stop the Russian).
Although Toktaulova is known as a tough woman she is coming in to this bout with a year long layoff and on the back of that stoppage loss to Juarez. It's with those two things in mind that make us feel that this will be little more than a public sparring session for Bopp who in all honesty will there to just look good.
We're think that Bopp may spend 4 or 5 rounds just working her way in to the bout but in the middle rounds she start going through the gears eventually stopping Toktaulova late much to the pleasure of the Argentinian fans who always give "Tuti" great support.
